Terms of Service

Welcome to Saarthy AI ("Saarthy", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Saarthy AI mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Saarthy AI is a spiritual companion app inspired by the Bhagavad Gita and allied traditions. It offers features including a japa mala counter, a daily shloka, devotional audio and audiobooks, mantras, customization (wallpapers, music, mantras), and an AI-assisted reflection chat. Features may change, be added, or be removed over time.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

• You must be capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. If you are a minor, use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
• Accounts are created and secured using your mobile phone number and a one-time password (OTP). You are responsible for keeping access to your phone and account secure.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current.

3. Trial, Subscriptions & Billing

• Free trial: Eligible users may start a 1-day free trial. To set up and verify your payment method, a small refundable charge (currently ₹5) is made and refunded immediately.
• Subscription: After the trial, unless cancelled, a recurring subscription (currently ₹249 per month) begins via UPI AutoPay or card through our payment partner. The current price and billing period are always shown at checkout before you confirm.
• Cancellation: You may cancel anytime before renewal from within the app or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future charges; it does not retroactively refund a completed billing period unless required by law.
• Payments are processed by third-party providers (e.g. Razorpay). Payment happens on our website; we do not store your full card or bank details.
• Taxes may apply. Prices may change with notice.

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: violating any law; attempting to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service; uploading harmful or infringing content; or using the Service to harass others or generate unlawful content.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its text, scripture translations, audio, design, and software, is owned by Saarthy or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You retain ownership of content you submit, and you grant us a licence to process it to operate the Service.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third parties (for example, payment processing, authentication, cloud hosting, and AI providers). Your use of those features may also be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content is accurate or complete.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Saarthy and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified within the app or by other reasonable means. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at our place of business shall have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection laws that apply to you.
